Conditions générales de vente TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following Terms and Conditions are valid between you, the purchaser and FANE SARL (Siret 84809339900030) and apply to all use of and orders placed on the FANE website www.faneofficiel.fr.
Please note that FANE does not guarantee that all products presented on the website are in stock or are available for purchase. FANE preserves its right to withdraw a product from sale. Orders can only be placed by persons 18 years and over. FANE reserves the right to revise the Terms and Conditions at any time.
Each purchase is subject to the Terms and Conditions in the version applicable at the date of submitting the order. Please read the applicable Terms and Conditions before submitting your order. Please note that the valid Terms and Conditions for your order are always the Terms and Conditions you have read and accepted before placing your order, and not a later version.


PLACING ORDERS

By using the website and/or placing an order on the website you must confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and Conditions. Please make sure you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions before you place an order. An order can only be placed if you have previously confirmed that you accept these Terms and Conditions.
Please note that products in your shopping bag are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers until you have placed the order at checkout and received the order confirmation email.


PRICES

All the prices are indicated in euros and all taxes included. The value added tax is the tax in force on French territory. Orders may be subjected to local taxes and/or import duties at your own expense. 
Prices may be modified by FANE at any moment, but the prices applied are those shown on the site at the time of ordering. Prices do not include shipping fees.


CUSTOMS, DUTIES AND TAXES

All international orders are shipped delivery duties unpaid (DDU).
Customs, duties and taxes are not included in the item price or shipping cost. Unfortunately, we cannot calculate these charges prior to your order being placed and are unable to cover them for customers. Any applicable fees will be collected from you by the carrier upon delivery.
Please check with your local customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchase.


AVAILABILITY

All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.
If one of the ordered products is not available, FANE commits to inform you by email within 7 days after order date. You may then maintain or cancel the order. In the case where the order is maintained and delivered partially, the client will be charged only the price of the delivered products.
In the case where the order is cancelled, we will refund via your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain number of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.


LEATHERS

The leathers we use for our products are carefully sourced from the best French and Italian tanneries. All FANE products are made Italy and France. Color variations, small marks or veins on the leathers are natural elements and should not be considered as imperfections.


DELIVERY

Orders are processed within 24 hours. Orders placed on weekends will not be shipped until the following weekday(s). Please note that deliveries will not occur on weekends or holidays.
The purchaser will receive a shipment confirmation email with the shipping tracking number. Please contact us at contact@faneofficiel.fr if you have not received your parcel within a reasonable time.
In case of delay, FANE’s responsibility cannot be engaged and this for any reason whatsoever. Therefore, no claim for compensation of any nature whatsoever can be claimed by the user.


PAYMENT

The website provides its clients with the following modes of payment: American Express, Apple Pay, Credit Cards, Mastercard, Paypal, Shop Pay and Visa.
Debit takes place at the moment the order is validated, on the condition that the debit authorization has been formerly received from the competent payment centers, otherwise the order cannot be taken into account.


EXCHANGE AND RETURN

Returns are free. The client has a lead-time of 14 days from reception date to return the product(s) he or she has ordered for exchange or refund. If the last day of the lead-time is a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, the lead-time is reported to the following business day. Beyond this, FANE reserves the right to refuse return or refund. All enquiries must be sent to contact@faneofficiel.fr.
We will send you a prepaid packing slip for the return.
Damaged or incomplete items will not be taken back and will be returned to you as is, at your expense.


WARRANTY CLAIMS

Products sold on our website are subject to the legal warranty conditions set out in Articles L.217-4 to L.217-14 of the French Consumer Code and Articles 1641 to 1648 of the French Civil Code, allowing the customer to return defective or non-conforming products free of charge. 
These warranties will only apply if the customer requests them within 24 months of delivery of the product.

Legal warranty of conformity

FANE will deliver to the customer a product in conformity with the contract and free from defects of conformity at the time of delivery of that product, in the sense that the product will be fit for the purpose usually expected of similar goods and it will have the characteristics provided at the time of sale.

Legal warranty against hidden defects

FANE will provide the customer with a product that is free from hidden defects that would make it unsuitable for its intended purpose, or which diminish this purpose to such an extent that the customer would not have purchased it, or would only have paid a lesser price for it if they had been aware of such hidden defects.

How to make a warranty claim

1. Contact us: If you believe you have a warranty claim, please contact us at contact@faneofficiel.fr with your order number and a description of the issue.

2. Provide evidence: Include photographs or any other relevant documentation to support your claim.

3. Assessment: We will assess your claim and determine whether it falls under the warranty provisions.

4. Resolution: If the claim is validated, we will attempt to repair or replace the product.  

Orders from third-party platforms or retailers

For all orders placed through third-party platforms or retailers, all warranty claims must be addressed directly through them. FANE will not process warranty claims for products not purchased directly from our website.

Exclusions

FANE will refuse any claim relating to Products in case of:

- Damage resulting from misuse, negligence, or normal wear and tear;
- Failure to maintain the product or to maintain it in accordance with our recommendations;
- Poor storage conditions of the product by the customer;
- Products modified, repaired, integrated or added by the customer
- Allergies to materials or components of the products as mentioned in the Product data sheet.
